Before now, the equipment menu had no meaning, it was just there as a placeholder. Now inventory items appearing in the equipment menu can be dragged and dropped onto appropriate slots on characters. Equipping different items grants stat boosts. However, it is still not made clear to the player which stat boosts come from a given piece of equipment. This will be implemented soon as a popup menu when you hover the pointer over a piece of equipment.
